Description
Umuthi omhlophe (umuthi wenhlanhla) is commonly used to attract good fortune, open doors, bring opportunities, and invite positive energy.
How it’s done (Ukugeza)
- Mix umuthi omhlophe (white clay/chalk or herbal mix) with warm water.
- Bath with it from head to toe while praying or speaking intentions (e.g., “Ngiyageza inhlanhla, ukuvulwa kwendlela, nobukhona bezithunywa zami”)
- Done in the early morning before sunrise or at night.
Purpose: Cleanses away blockages and invites luck in areas like work, money, love, or protection.
Ukugquma (Steaming)
How it’s done:
- Boil in water.
- You cover yourself with a blanket and steam, allowing the vapors to enter your body and spirit.
- Speak or meditate during the process.
